How many pieces do I need?

Count settings, not pieces. A 20-piece set is five pieces for four people; 24-piece is six settings of four; a 49-piece set covers eight settings with serving pieces. Every listing states the composition — how many dinner forks, teaspoons and knives — so you can check it against the way you actually lay a table.

What is 18/10 and 18/0?

The numbers are the chromium and nickel content. 18/10 has nickel, which gives a deeper shine and better corrosion resistance; 18/0 has none, is magnetic, and is perfectly serviceable everyday steel. A magnet sticking to a piece tells you the grade, not the quality. Each listing states the grade supplied for that set.

Are the black and gold sets safe to eat off?

Yes — the coating is food-safe as supplied. It is a surface coating, so it will wear at the contact edges over years of use and faster in a dishwasher. If you want a finish that never changes, buy plain steel; we would rather tell you that than have you disappointed in a year.

Can these go in the dishwasher?

Plain and matte steel, yes. Coated black or gold pieces and hammered finishes last considerably longer hand-washed. Whatever the finish, rinse off salt, lemon and other acidic residue rather than leaving it sitting on the steel overnight — that, not the dishwasher, is what pits cutlery.

Why does the mirror finish show marks?

Because it is a mirror. Under a strong light a polished surface shows fingerprints and fine handling marks; matte and hammered finishes hide them. That is a characteristic of the finish rather than a defect, and it is worth considering before choosing mirror for daily use.

What does shipping cost and how long does it take?

Free from ₹1,999; below that a flat ₹69 on the order, with no weight surcharge afterwards. We pack in 1 business day and dispatch from Jaipur through Delhivery / DTDC — 2–4 business days to metro PIN codes, 4–7 business days elsewhere, or 3–8 business days from order to door.

How can I pay?

UPI or Cash on Delivery, nothing else. No credit or debit cards, no net banking, no PayPal, and no payment credential is ever stored. Prices are in Indian Rupees with applicable tax included.

My set is one piece short. What now?

Film the unboxing and count against the invoice before anything goes into a drawer, then email us the clip within 48 hours of delivery. Counts are checked on our bench before dispatch, so a genuine shortfall is replaced at our cost without argument.

Can I return a set I have washed?

No — a washed or used set cannot be returned. Unused, unwashed sets complete in their tray can be returned within 10 days of delivery, with approved refunds processed within 6 business days. Full conditions are on the Refund and Returns Policy page.

Is there a warranty?

We do not offer a six-month or manufacturer-backed warranty and will not pretend to. What you have is our returns cover for anything bent, marked, wrong or short on arrival. Coating wear, water spotting and scratches from use are wear rather than faults.

Do you engrave or personalise?

No — no engraving, no monogramming, no re-plating and no repairs. We sell the sets as listed.

Do you have a shop I can visit?

No — we are online-only, with no showroom or counter. Every order is placed here and shipped from Jaipur, Rajasthan.
